Upon entering St. Michaels in Maryland, along the main road, this long-time resident hired us to refresh his green roof. On this 2010 project we applied the newer finish that will avoid the chalking identified with acrylic applications.
Their home is constructed on “ballast bricks”. Ballast bricks, used on nearly empty ships, the bricks were unloaded and replaced with fine goods for other destinations. Some bricks became part of original construction of colonial homes on the Eastern seaboard.
