“Coating on high”

In every trade, shorten phrases evolve that are understood only by a few people. For example, Lester Mobley, the crew chief who has performed all the field work on this blog and website, avoids referring to the last coating as “final coat” or “top coat”.

His involvement in ministerial work undoubtedly has influenced him to say, “coating on high”, instead of the more secular phrases.
