Best time, before August 1st,
Over embossed tin shingle roofing areas over the residence,
1) pressure wash all work areas, removing loose debris/grit
2) Around three new skylites, no flashing required. Coat roof/skylite meeting point carefully with acrylic, then top coat with custom WC66 application. WC66 will flake with base adhesive of acrylic
3) apply Polaprime 21 primer over work area, including under material for skylite touchup
4) along peaks, front and back, apply 4 inch wide mesh with acrylic above and below mesh to reinforce recent metal drip edge.
5) Chimney, be sure to clean as best possible with pressure washer.
6) all four lower roofs can be used to work off of: Front door flat roof receives same primer, acrylic and topcoat like roof. Other three roofs will be replaced.
7. Apply a coating of acrylic over upper roof area; apply WC66 custom color with rollers. Use no more than two finger widths (a spitting amount) of xylene if material is stiff.
Notes: Gutter is new so use a cloth to protect gutter from ladder.
