Rusty roof over a home on the National Register of Historic Sites

Rusty tin shingle roof in Maryland

The lady of this historical place on the National Register just loves her rusting roof. Both she and her husband remember the home when they were children.  The idea of adding a finish to their tin shingle roof is not on their agenda.

But the roof leaked last fall.  We repaired the leaks using a matching chestnut tinted coating and mesh.  We encapsulated the lowest row of shingles with a drip edge, also tinted in a rust-colored coating.  They were pleased.
